Art Pack Updates

With version 1.5 of the HD1000 software, new art pack functionality has been introduced. The Nature and The Classics art packs need to be updated to take advantage of the new functionality. By installing these updates, you will be able to change the settings of the art packs to reflect you personal preferences as well as access the art pack from network shares. No other art packs need updating as they are already compatible with 1.5's additional functionality.
Improtant Note
These updates are only needed for stand-alone Nature or The Classics Art Packs. The Gallery Collection does not need these updates and installing either of the updates on a Gallery Collection Compact Flash card may render the Art Pack inoperative.
Installation Instructions
  • Download and save the appropriate updates for the art packs that you own (right-click and choose "Save As..." to save the zip file):

  • Ensure you have a backup of your existing art pack. A backup is available on the CD that shipped with your art pack. In the event that the CD is not available, you may backup the art pack by copying the contents of the Compact Flash card to another location.
  • Extract the contents of the zip file to a new folder. Be sure to preserve directory name when performing the extraction.
  • Open the folder to which you just extracted the zip file. You should see several files and a directory. One directory at a time copy each file (not directory) into the corresponding directory on the original Art Pack, overwriting whenever a file already exists. Windows users can copy everything all at once and answer "yes" when asked if you want to overwrite existing files.
  • Insert the Art Pack in your HD1000. This will play the art pack and register your ownership of the art pack with the Art Pack Settings setup panel.
  • Go into setup and choose "Art Pack Settings". You should now be able to change the settings for the art pack.
